Imagine
this striking set of plates hanging on your livingroom wall or gracing
your display cabinet. These
are not your ordinary collectibles with some generic Chinese Shar-Pei
print on them. This limited
edition, numbered set of five plates is made up of dogs you knew and
loved. Beautiful
hand-painted watercolor portraits done by Deb Johnson, are set off by a
soft sage green background on white plates edged with gold trim,
designed to complement any décor.
Once these numbered sets have been ordered and delivered, they
will not be available again. For
a collectible of similar quality, you would expect to pay $50.00 or more
per plate – NASPR’s first Limited Edition Plate Set can be yours for
only $200.00 for the entire set of five.
NASPR’s mission is to
evaluate the many lost and stray Shar-Pei that end up in kill shelters
and pound across the country, save those deemed adoptable, rehabilitate
(both medically and emotionally), and re-home these dogs in loving homes
with forever families. Unfortunately
the number of dogs needing our help is endless, while our money is not.
All proceeds from the sale of these plates go directly to helping
these needy dogs. Except in
extreme cases, on the average, rescue invests about $300.00 (excluding
routine care such as food) in each Shar-Pei.
Adoption fees rarely cover more than half the necessary care.
We depend on private donations and fund raisers to provide the
rest. By purchasing one of
these plate sets, you have not only invested in a collection we feel
will increase in value, but also in our dogs by showing how much we do
care.
